Tallahassee Democrat: Forget flowers for Valentine’s Day this year, chocolate covered strawberries don’t die

As the sun rises over Tallahassee on Valentine’s Day, you will find Dot and Richard Herbert preparing for their busiest single day of business all year according to a recent story in the Tallahassee Democrat.

They will begin dipping strawberries in milk, dark and white chocolate at 5:30 a.m.

By the end of the day, between 3,500 and 4,000 will have gone out the door of Peterbrooke Chocolatier shop.
