How much does it cost to open a Peterbrooke franchise?

What is the franchise fee?
A The initial franchise fee is $25,000 and provides access to our brand, support systems, training programs, and ongoing operational guidance.
What kind of training and support will I receive?
All franchisees attend a comprehensive training program at our Jacksonville headquarters. You'll learn about chocolate production, store operations, inventory management, staffing, marketing, and customer service. We also provide on-site support for your grand opening and ongoing coaching throughout your ownership.
Do I need to have food or retail experience?
No prior chocolate, food, or retail experience is required. Although not required, we do prefer some retail or hospitality experience. We provide all the training you'll need. We're looking for enthusiastic, people-first entrepreneurs with a strong work ethic and a willingness to follow a proven system.
Can I own more than one Peterbrooke location?
Absolutely. Many of our franchisees are multi-unit owners. Once you've demonstrated success with your first location, we'll work with you to explore additional opportunities.
How long does it take to open a Peterbrooke store?
The timeline varies by market and site readiness, but on average, you can expect the process—from signing to grand opening—to take 6 to 9 months.
Will I have a protected territory?
Yes. Franchisees receive a defined, protected territory to help ensure your business can grow without intra-brand competition.
What kind of products will I sell?
Peterbrooke stores offer a wide range of hand-crafted chocolates, truffles, dipped items, gift baskets, seasonal offerings, and private label goods. We also support local customization to help you serve your community in unique ways. Products we sell could be enhanced to include chocolate gifts, corporate gifts, gelato, chocolate education like kids camps, etc.
